    ◙ WITHDRAWING FUNDS FROM INDIEGOGO

Indiegogo offers multiple payout options depending on the payment method used during your campaign. Here's how the disbursement process works:

    1. Credit Card Contributions

Funds raised via credit cards are transferred to your bank account within 15 business days after your campaign ends.
Once processed, it typically takes 3–5 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

    2. PayPal Contributions

If PayPal is used, funds will be transferred to your linked PayPal account within 15 business days following the end of your campaign.

    3. Nonprofit Campaigns

Verified nonprofit campaigns follow a slightly different disbursement schedule:

    • A 3.75% fee rebate is issued within 15 days of the campaign's deadline to FirstGiving (Indiegogo’s nonprofit payment processor).

    • After the initial disbursement, any additional funds raised (such as via InDemand) are sent every four weeks.

    • FirstGiving then distributes the funds monthly to the nonprofit organization.

    ◙ INDIEGOGO INDEMAND

Indiegogo InDemand allows you to continue collecting contributions after your initial campaign has ended—with no need to start a new campaign. This feature is ideal for keeping momentum going while continuing to raise awareness and funds.

    ◙ PROJECT TIME LIMITS

Indiegogo campaigns have set deadlines, but the platform offers flexibility for continued fundraising beyond the initial period.

    • Campaign Deadlines:
All campaigns must have a set end date when launched.

    • Post-Deadline Fundraising:
If your campaign meets its funding goal, you can keep raising funds after the deadline by transitioning to Indiegogo InDemand—a feature that allows continued promotion and support without launching a new campaign.

    ◙ ADDITIONAL INDIEGOGO FEATURES

    Keeping Your Audience Engaged

With InDemand, your campaign doesn’t just end—it evolves. Here’s what your audience will see:

    • A clear notice that the original campaign has ended, but contributions and perks are still available.

    • Real-time updates showing the total funds raised, even after transitioning to InDemand.

    • The ability for visitors to continue supporting your project or claim available perks.

     Reward-CrowdFunding (Creative Projects)

     All-or-Nothing Campaigns

8%-10% Total Fee on Received Funds (Only successful campaigns)

     Full Mobile App

    ◙ SUPPORTED PROJECTS

Kickstarter: Fund Your Favorite Creative Projects

Kickstarter empowers users to raise funds for innovative and artistic ventures across a wide range of creative fields, including Art, Comics, Crafts, Dance, Design, Fashion, Film & Video, Food, Games, Journalism, Music, Photography, Publishing, Technology, and Theater.

    Key Features of Kickstarter

    • Reward-Based Crowdfunding: Backers receive unique rewards or experiences in exchange for their support.

    • All-or-Nothing Campaigns: Funds are only collected if the project meets its funding goal.

    • Creators Retain Ownership: Project creators keep full ownership of their work and ideas.

Important: Kickstarter does not support equity crowdfunding, financial returns, or loan solicitations.

    Three Core Kickstarter Rules

    1. Projects must create Something to Share
Kickstarter projects are about bringing ideas to life — whether that’s art, gadgets, events, or experiences. Every campaign should have a clear plan to create and deliver something tangible or experiential to supporters. Creators should be able to say: “It’s finished. Here’s what we made.”

    2. Projects must Be Honest and Transparent
Honesty is essential. Creators must provide clear, truthful information about their goals and plans. For complex products like gadgets, creators are required to show a working prototype; photorealistic renderings or mockups alone are not acceptable.

    3. Projects cannot fundraise for Charity or Offer Financial Returns
Kickstarter campaigns cannot be used to raise money for charitable causes or offer financial incentives such as equity or repayment. Only creative projects with tangible rewards are allowed.

    ◙ SUPPORTED COUNTRIES

Project creators can launch campaigns on Kickstarter if they are residents of the following countries and meet these requirements:

    Supported countries include:
United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.

    Eligibility criteria:

    1. Must be 18 years or older.

    2. Must be a permanent resident (individual or registered legal entity) of one of the supported countries.

    3. Must have a valid address, bank account, and government-issued ID registered in the supported country.

    4. Must hold a credit or debit card.

Note: While project creators must meet these requirements, Kickstarter welcomes backers from all over the world.

    About Kickstarter

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, USA, Kickstarter is a pioneering platform dedicated to funding creative projects across a wide array of fields — including film, games, music, art, design, and technology. Since its inception, Kickstarter has raised over $1.8 billion, successfully funding more than 87,000 projects.

    Kickstarter Fees

Kickstarter charges two main fees, which apply only to successfully funded projects:

    1. Platform Fee: 5% of the total funds raised.

    2. Payment Processing Fees: Approximately 3% plus $0.20 per pledge. (For pledges under $10, a discounted “micropledge” fee of 5% plus $0.05 per pledge applies.)

No fees are charged if a project does not meet its funding goal.

    Withdrawing Funds

Once a project is successfully funded, backers’ payments are collected immediately. There is a 14-day period during which Kickstarter processes all pledges. After this window closes, funds are transferred directly to the project creator’s bank account. The transfer timing may vary depending on the bank.

    Project Time Limits

Kickstarter operates on an all-or-nothing funding model — no backer is charged unless the project reaches its funding goal. This ensures creators have the full budget they need before moving forward.

    • Funding period: Up to 90 days.

    Additional Features

When a project is successfully funded, the creator is responsible for completing the project and delivering all promised rewards. Their primary obligation to backers is to fulfill their commitments.

In cases where a creator is unable to complete the project or deliver rewards as planned, they must make every reasonable effort to find alternative solutions to satisfy their backers.
